nitrocellulose is a 5 min found footage analog 35 mm color film digitally edited. the film was made with material found in EYE Film Institute Netherlands

the final output of a project exploring nitrate film, nitrocellulose serves both as the subject and the medium of the film and explores the landscapes of its materiality. addressing the damaged over the year nitrate film as dead, the film was examined and treated almost as an autopsy, manually scanning and handling it exploring all it facades.
